How much would your operation need?
PitCharger dosing is based on the number of animals and the type of manure system being treated. For hog operations, a common starting point is about one gallon per month per 1,000 head. For cattle and dairy, it is about one gallon per 75 animals. Rates are adjusted based on system design, loading, and the problem being treated.

The published benchmarks the calculator is built on.
| Hog, 1,000 head | ~1 gallon per month |
|---|---|
| Hog, 4,000-head finishing barn | ~4 gallons per month |
| Cattle and dairy | ~1 gallon per month per 75 animals |
| Poultry | Set on a call, no standard published rate |
| Lagoons | Adjusted for manure already stored plus monthly additions |
| Results | Most notice a difference in month one; significant results measured at about six months |
The hog and cattle/dairy rates are PitCharger's own common starting points. The recoverable-capacity and agitation ranges are conservative estimates on top of those, which is why this returns an estimate and routes you to a conversation rather than a quote.
