Accessibility

Our target

This site is built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target is tested rather than asserted: every route is checked with automated accessibility tooling in our build pipeline, and the site is verified to work with JavaScript disabled.

What that means in practice

  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible high-contrast focus ring.
  • A skip-to-content link jumps past the header and the animated hero section.
  • Body text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio; large text and interface boundaries meet 3:1. Text over the hero is measured against the brightest frame of the video behind it, not an average.
  • All hero narrative text exists as real content in the page regardless of whether animation runs. Nothing meaningful is delivered only by JavaScript.
  • Every form field has a real label, help text is programmatically associated, and errors are announced and tied to their field.

Motion

If your system is set to reduce motion, the site respects it globally: the scroll-driven hero does not run, nothing is pinned, background animation is disabled, and the hero's three sections simply stack and scroll.

You can also turn motion off yourself with the toggle in the footer, or by adding ?nomotion=1 to any URL. That preference is remembered in your browser.
