PitCharger Manure Digester

With 51 different strains of bacteria engineered specifically for manure decomposition, PitCharger Manure Digester is effective in a wide variety of Manure storage systems.

PitCharger Manure Digester is a concentrated bacterial product made up of 51 different strains of bacteria engineered specifically for manure decomposition. The ecological diversity of PitCharger Manure Digester is what makes it so effective. Unlike PitCharger Manure Digester, many bacterial products on the market today provide a formulation of between four and ten different strains of bacteria. Unfortunately, bacterial products with a limited number of organisms seldom digest waste and reduce odors on a consistent basis between different engineering systems and environments.

Each organism in PitCharger Manure Digester falls into four different categories of bacteria: anaerobic, facultative, microaerophilic, or aerobic. Each stratum is responsible for completing specific tasks within the waste or nutrient confinement system. Without one type of bacteria, another type would not be able to function. PitCharger Manure Digester is therefore in essence what microbiologists call a bacterial consortium. A bacterial consortium is a community of organisms that live together in a certain harmony and are synergistic in their relationships with each other.

"We really like the overall price performance of PitCharger Manure Digester. We get a shipment of 4 gallons every month and apply it within a day or two. It keeps us on schedule with maintenance, we don't have to store it on site or pay for a year's worth all at one time."

Aerobic bacteria in non-aerated manure containment systems occupy only a small volume, usually the top 3-6 inches, of the manure column. They however are responsible for providing a certain degree of odor control in manure systems. Without anaerobic bacteria in the bottom of the sludge providing ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile fatty acids, the aerobic bacteria would not have a constant food source.

Therefore, it is easy to see why PitCharger Manure Digester is so effective. Our product provides bacteria to decompose manure as quickly and efficiently as possible while, at the same time, providing the necessary bacteria to reduce odorous emissions to a minimum. We have proven our technology in an overwhelming majority of manure storage systems available in agriculture today.
